When asked how to photograph Pets my first thought is golly I dont know. . . Which isn't true of coarse, but the answer is rather complicated. It requires either Luck or an incredible amount of patience and a degree of Dr. DooLittle skillset. There really isn't any one trick to nailing any photograph, firstly you must know why you're taking the picture but we will talk about that another day.

If you have a dog or turtle or any other four legged buddy, start by practicing, alot! Take note of what actions you perform that either entice the furry friend or scare it.
When booking a Pet Portrait Session the most important question to ask is whether or not the dog is fearful of flashes, frequently animals are not to fond of bright lights flashing to be honest I am not ether thats why I hide behind cameras.
What's the point Preston, yes, yes I am getting to it our pets are like our friends. They are all a little weird and most of them are camera shy. Don't bully pets into photography instead persuade them with positivity, patience, understanding and certainly treats.
